I am originally from Lafayette,La & live here now but my grandparents are from Houston County, Crockett Tx. I do believe that I'm related to 90% of this town and most who've passed are laid to rest in Wesley Chapel Cemetery- my grandfather was laid to rest here in 2006 & recently my grandma in 2018. My great-great grandfather was buried here in 1939 & over the years it has become the final resting place for about 15 or more of my family members - Wesley's Chapel Cemetery is a very special place to me.

I graduated from Northwestern State (Louisiana) in 2005 with a BA in Political Science/Criminal Justice. I worked for TDCJ before coming back home and it was during this time that I lived with my grandma in Crockett. Not only am I the oldest grandchild, but I was extremely close to her after taking care of her (and she took care of me) for 5 years.
