I am an Air Force Veteran that has been working on my family's genealogy for over 19 years. I started this journey for my kids, their future children, and my Mom. My mom and her siblings grew up in foster homes, so we do not have pictures, records, family bibles, documents, etc. to help us trace our ancestry. Obviously, I hit brick walls and most of the people who would know answers are either gone or will take the 'secrets' to their graves. I will keep searching for as long as I can ... but, I'm the only one really interested in the family history.
