Buck is a native of Greensboro, NC. He has been in the funeral industry for 25 years and is a licensed Funeral Service Practitioner in North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Texas. During his career he also spent time at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School as an instructor in their anatomy lab as well as an anatomical embalmer in their Willed Body Program. He graduated from Fayetteville Technical Community College in Fayetteville, NC at the top of his class with an AAS in Mortuary Science. He found his way to Oklahoma through a track scholarship to Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee where he earned a Bachelors in Sports Ministry.
He is an ordained minister and is an active member of Composite Lodge #107 A.F & A.M where he is a certificate lecturer and member of the District 29 Degree Team serving around the state in various capacities. He is a member of the McAlester Consistory of the Scottish Rite where holds the investiture of 32° K.C.C.H as well as director/co-director of multiple degrees within the Valley. He is also a member of the Kappa Tau Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. in Tulsa.
He and his family have been active at The Assembly Church for 5 years where he leads an annual men's Bible study. He enjoys running and coaching track and field, going to the movies, being outdoors, but most of all spending time with his wife Amy and their daughter Emree.
