Wife- Edith Irene Geary West now Edith Tyree who is still alive and lives in Portland, OR area with her son Larry Tyree

Robert 'Bob' was my Mother's husband. He died from injuries from welding accident. . From what I understand, they were welding on a gas pipe and someone had said the gas was off, but it was not. The accident happened about 1:30 pm on Monday, June 8th and he passed away at 3:30 am the following morning. They had no children. From the accounts from my mother Robert was a very nice man. My mother and him were married almost 5 years. When they were both working, he was the kind of husband that realized that it took a women longer to get ready for work then a man; and he compensated by packing both their lunches. He lived for 12 and a half hours after the accident that took his life. As, they transferred Bob by ambulance to a larger hospital, he joked with my mother to cover up his toe; he didn't want it to get sun burnt. Even though he died before I was born, I miss him.
