Mrs. N. Bollensen
Funeral services were held today for Mrs.Nannie Bollensen, age 86 years, who died Saturday at her home, 57 Grand Avenue , as a result of a fall suffered recently. Mr. Bollensen fractures her hip two weeks ago.
The deceased woman was the widow of the late Charles H.Bollensen, who formerly operated a grocery store at Gratiot and Macomb streets. She was a native of Germany, the daughter of the late William and Henrietta Schutter, and came to this country with her parents when she was six years old.
The family first settled in Detroit and came to Mount Clemens when Mrs.Bollensen was 16 years old. She had lived here countinuously for 70 years, and during practically this entire period had been a member of Zion Evangelical Church.
Mrs. Bollensen is survived by one son, William A.Bollensen; a brother, William Schutter, of detroit, and a number of nieces and nephews. A son, Otto, died Nov. 2, 1941.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 pm, today at the family residence, with Rev.Jacob Wulfmann officiating . Burial was in the family lot in Clinton Grove Cemetery, with arrangements in charge of Duncan B. Hubbard.
