Dana A. Bettin II, age 23 was born to eternal life on Sunday, September 12, 2004 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. Dana was born in Shawano on February 14, 1981. Dana went to school in Omro, and was on the cross country team in high school there. Dana worked at the foundry in Berlin. He loved music of all kinds, reading, and history. Dana was outspoken, kept in shape by playing basketball, football, boxing and weight lifting. Dana will especially be remembered by friends and family for the harmless pranks he pulled on them.
Dana will be missed by his parents, Lori and John Bricco of Omro, and Dana Bettin of Clintonville; sisters, Ashley Bricco of Oshkosh, formerly of Omro, and Jessica Bricco of Omro; brothers, Kyle Bricco of Omro and Brad Mares of Bear Creek; his children, Cullen Bettin and Jazmyne Bettin; niece, Jaydan Bricco; nephew, Jourdyn Bricco; grandparents, Joan & Lester Shepardson, Robert & Germaine Hohner, Donna & Earl “Bud” Bettin; many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Dana was preceded in death by Grandpa Robert Bricco, Uncle Gerald Rew and friend Ricky Masten.
