Son of Henry Harrison Weeks and Harriet S. Swezey, husband of Myra Mae Jones and father of Mary Elizabeth and Roberta Elaine Weeks

On Thursday, December 12, 1968, in the Patchogue Advance, an article ran titled "A Salute To Harry Weeks" that read: "It is gratifying that high tribute was paid recently to Harry T. Weeks for his 20 years of service to the Patchogue Chamber of Commerce.

Few people have served Patchogue better than this kindly gentleman with the friendly manner. He has been 'Mr. Chamber of Commerce' for more years than we can remember. Mr. Weeks, who began his career in the Patchogue Post Office in 1900, served as president of the Chamber of Commerce in 1941 and since 1949 has been a fixture with the Chamber. With his retirement, the honorary title of lifetime executive - vice - president was conferred upon him by the Board of Directors. It is good to know that he has volunteered to continue helping out at the office, for his advice based on many years of experience should be extremely helpful.

To Mr. Weeks we say "Well Done" on behalf of a grateful community."
