KILLED BY KICK FROM A HORSE
Era L. Dixon was killed at Unionvale on Friday last, due to a kick from a horse. The accident happened in the evening, and he lived till the following morning. His skull was fractured by the kick. He was a man nearly 62 years of age, a native of Indiana and a carpenter by trade. The funeral was held at the home today, conducted by Rev. Mr. Stover of the Evangelical church, and Rev. C.W. Stewart of the Methodist church. Burial will be made at Philomath. Deceased leaves a wife, three daughters and a son, a brother at Unionvale and three brothers and a sister in Kansas.
