-MOUNT CLEMENS-Alexander J.Karash, 73, a Mount Clemens resident more than 40 years, died Thursday at Harper Hospital, Detroit.
Mr.Karash was the owner of Karash Welding and Steel Service, a subsidaiary of Karash Idustrials Services, which he established in 1949.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; duaghters, Pamela Bolton of Clinton Township,Sandra Teipel of Mount Clemens, Deborah Graziani of Grosse Pointe Woods; six grandchildren; sisters, Mary Mathews of St.Clairs Shores, Sophia Abratowski of St.Clair Shores, Ann of Malinczak;brothers, frank of St.Clair Shores and Loe of Warren. He was predeceased by his son, James.
Services will be held at 9:30am.Monday at Wujek-Calcaterra Funeral Home, 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway, Sterling Heights, and 10:30am. at St.Louis Catholic Church,Mount Clemens.Burial will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township.Visitations will be 2 to 9pm. today and 1 to 9pm. Sunday. A rosary will be 3pm. Sunday in the funeral home.
