Precious Gabriel we gave you the name because we know that it means God is my strength, my salvation. Without Him we would have never been able to bear the loss of you. You have the same name as the archangel Gabriel. He has been called the angel of the power of God and also the angel of judgment- he will appear on the last day and blow the final trumpet that will call all of the living and the dead to come forth and face the final, irrevocable judgment of the Lord. A powerful warrior of God. You too my tiny, precious son were created for a heavenly purpose. One only you could fulfill among all those He has created. I'm truly honored to be your Mother. I wouldn't trade one instant of the time we had here together where you grew beneath my heart. When we meet again my little one, I will hold you again. Note: After the loss of our precious son Gabriel we suffered three subsequent losses. On February 7th, 2005 we lost our second baby early in the pregnancy. We named this baby Riley Caden. In our hearts we feel this name is what our baby was meant to be named although we don't know for sure if it was a boy. On May 12, 2006 we lost a second son, Isaiah Caden. I delivered him in the hospital and was able to hold him for a short time. Our sweet little Amarissa Isabella was lost early on in the pregnancy and was gone back to heaven on January 30, 2007. These little ones are buried for now in a memorial garden with a little pond at our home in small wooden boxes, handmade from olive wood grown in the Holy land with angels carved in them. When I die, they, along with Gabriel will share my grave. For now Gabriel is buried at the head of the grave we will share. Deeply missed, desperately wanted and loved.
