Raymond Darrell Canada, age 60 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died October 19, 2012 at his home. Funeral service was held Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Meadows officiating. Burial was in the Higginbotham Cemetery.

He was born in Whitley County, Kentucky on January 24, 1952 the son of the late Earl Ray and Martha (Gibson) Canada. He was a logger and a member of the Marshes Siding Church of God.

His parents; brothers, Carl Dean "Houdini" Canada and Bobby Ray Canada; and sisters, Linda Lou Canada, Mary Ethel Canada, and Brenda Canada precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Ina (Meadows) Canada of Whitley City, Kentucky; sons, John Darrell Canada and wife, Sunshine of Whitley City, Kentucky and Earl Dean Canada and wife, Amanda of Strunk, Kentucky; daughters, Teresa Lynn Jones and husband, Greg of Stearns, Kentucky and Melissa Canada and husband, Tim of Whitley City, Kentucky; brothers, Eddie Meadows of Williamsburg, Kentucky Eugene Canada of Whitley City, Kentucky, and Arnold Lee Canada of Williamsburg, Kentucky; and sisters, Jacqueline Phillips and Trish Meadows both of Whitley City, Kentucky. Grandchildren, Matthew Gregory Jones, Meoldy Lynn Jones, Katelyn Dawn Reynolds, Trysten Zane Canada, Darrelyn Grace Canada, Kameron Paige Canada, Mallory Leann Canada, Caleb Blake Canada, Victoria Brooklyn Canada, and Isabelle Shiann Canada also survive.
