PLYMOUTH - Sondre J. Kamp, age 69, of 10258 Muckshaw Road, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away at 8:24 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, after losing her battle with cancer and emphysema.
Sondre was born on May 4, 1943, in Plymouth, to Deane and Cecelia (Kinsey) Dipert. Sondre was a lifetime resident of Marshall County. On February 16, 1959, Sondre became the bride of Kenneth E. Kamp, who preceded her in death on October 16, 2007. They were married nearly 49 years. Sondre was an excellent homemaker, who provided a wonderful home and home-life for her family. She was an avid reader, enjoyed working crossword puzzles, and spending quality time with her daughters, granddaughters and great-granddaughters. Sondre is survived by her three daughters, Cathy (George) Null and Angela (Corey) Green both of Argos, Indiana, and Kimberly Kamp (companion Gary Masterson) of Plymouth. Also surviving are four granddaughters, Shanda and Krista Null, Ashley (Kendall) Elmore, and Ashton Kendall; two great-granddaughters, Kailey Elmore and Ataya Hesters; one sister, Mary Dipert; one half brother, Michael Bernero; four step-granddaughters, one step-grandson, two step-great-granddaughters & and one step-great-grandson. Sondre was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Kamp, her parents, and her sister, Mona Stetler. Memorials may be given to The Center for Hospice, 112 South Center Street, Plymouth, Indiana 46563. Visitation is Wednesday, October 24, 2012, from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Argos Wesleyan Church, 401 North Michigan Street, Argos, Indiana. Services are Wednesday, October 24, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Argos Wesleyan Church, with the Rev. Brian Trump officiating.
Burial will take place at New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
