EVERGREEN, La. - Frances Bordelon McDonald, 76, of Evergreen, died at 9:25 a.m. Friday in a Mansura nursing home. She was a member of the Little Flower Catholic church and the widow of Calvin McDonald Sr.
She is survived by two sons, Calvin McDonald Jr. of Slidell and Bobby McDonald of Garland, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. M.D. Descant of Bunkie; a brother, Henning Bordelon of Marksville; two sisters, Mrs. C.B. Johnston of New Orleans and Mrs. J.J. Dandinger of Mandeville; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today in Little Flower Catholic church, Evergreen, with Rev. Herve Lajoie officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Escude of Cottonport.
