Born April 22, 1923 in Chicago, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Blattner) Coogan. She was formerly employed at Drovers Bank in Chicago.
Surviving are three sons, Theodore J. (Joyce) Kaminski, Alan R. (Su) Kaminski of Fort Myers, Fla, and Dean (Darla) Kaminski of Braidwood; a daughter Kathryn M. (Arthur) Scarbro of Naperville; 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jack (Dolores) Coogan and Robert (Ruth) Coogan, both of Chicago and Daniel (Marie) Coogan of Almond, Wis.; two sisters, Margaret Kemp of Evergreen Park and Charlene Medley of Chicago and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Theodore "Ted" Kaminski and two sisters, Rosemary Coogan and Dorothy Bernard.
