Patty was born the 2nd daughter of John and Margie Lallo in Seattle. In her grade school years she lived in Seattle, Arizona, San Jose, Minnesota and Florida. Her family settled in San Jose in 1967 where she attended Bret Harte and Leland High School.
She was creative by nature, always drawing or creating things. She created alternate personalities as a young child and loved to perform. After high school she lived in Seattle, Washington and then in Texas.
In 1976 she had the love of her life - her son Justin. Later she settled in Boyes Hot Springs (Sonoma), California. In 1984 she married Mark Battistella and he died in 1989 after a short illness.
In 1995 her grandson Chris was born to her great delight.
She loved her three female cats Beakers, Molly, Caitlin whom she had for over 18 years. She worked for a short time before she got ill at Pets Life Line and adopted her beloved orange cat Henry.
In 2002 she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and given months to live. She proved every prediction by every specialist wrong and lived 4 more years.
Her great lifelong passion was food - she loved watching food and cooking channels.
She lived with her parents the last 18 months and got her wish of seeing her 50th birthday and passing away at home in her bed.
