Funeral services for Exina Simon Gaspard, 91, were held Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Mr. Kendal Faulk officiating the services.
Mrs. Gaspard died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, at 10 a.m. at Southwest Regional Medical Center.
She was laid to rest at the Leroy Cemetery.
Survivors include three sisters, Ada S. Meaux of Kaplan, Ephelia S. Monic of Lafayette and Emedia Simon of Kaplan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was prededed in death by her husband, Clearcy Gaspard; her parents, Arthur Simon and the former Marguerite Simon; three brothers, Leonard Simon, Leodias Simon and Amadus Simon; and four sisters, Azilda Simon, Armelise Woods, Elenia Simon and Nita Simon.
