Thomas A. Baker, age 55, passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, August 11, 2012 in North Carolina. He was born April 18, 1957 in Muskegon to Charles and Beverly (Seifers) Baker. Tom graduated from Orchard View High School in 1975. Following graduation, he enlisted in the Navy, where he served his country for several years. SURVIVORS include his mother, Beverly Baker of Muskegon; twin brother, Timothy L. (Patrice) Baker of Santa Ana, CA; 2 sisters, Karen S. (Steve) Ames, Sandra K. (Mark) Smith both of Muskegon; 4 nephews, Eric (Holly) Ames, Thomas and Joseph Smith, and Kyle Baker. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles H. "Chuck" Baker on December 19, 2010. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Fifth Reformed Church (2330 Holton Rd.) with Rev. Paul Burmeister officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Egelston Twp.
