He was employed with Westinghouse prior to opening Johnny Watson Painting in 1970.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Dorsey Watson, two sons, John Watson (Karen Patton) of Hull, Greg Watson (Angela Allen) of Danielsville; siblings, Kenneth (Lila) Watson of Stephens, Jim (Linda) Watson of Danielsville, Tim (Diane) Watson of Bogart, Kathy Lester of Athens, Mike Watson of Pendergrass, Susan (Mark) Newton of Lawrenceville; two grandchildren, Chad Allen and Jessica Allen; great grandchild, Makenna Allen.
