Nellie Louise Knight, 90, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away May 27, 2016, at her home. Mrs. Knight was born Sept. 25, 1925, in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late Samuel Ford Kibler and Anna Mae Baker Kibler.

She was a homemaker.

On June 10, 1943, she was united in marriage to Charles E. Knight, who passed away on July 7, 2011.

Surviving are her children, Betty Sampson and husband, Richard, Bonnie Warner and husband, Bootie, John Knight and wife, Barbara, and Charles Knight Jr. and wife, Wilda; two sisters, Anna Lee Branner and Shirley Jarrells; one brother, Bill Kibler; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by a son, Nelson Eddie Knight, who passed away in 1985, four sisters and two brothers.

A private graveside service will be held.

Those wishing to view and sign the guestbook may do so on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
