Thomas Theodore Turner was called "Dode"
He was the son of Sam Houston Turner and Amanda Caroline Franklin.

"Dode" was married 3 times:first to Nannie Jane Tullos in 1894. They had 4 children and divorced. Thomas married second to 1st cousin Ella Turner Thompson, daughter of Moses K. Turner and Mary Ann Thompson Chandler. In 1908 Ella married first to W. J. Thompson and had a son. W. J. and the son both died before 1910 in the influenza epidemic that also claimed Ella's father and many other relatives. Ella and Thomas married in 1911 and had 2 sons. Ella died in 1930. Thomas married 3rd to Jennie Jo Crawford Lee, widow of William Solomon Lee. Jennie Jo and Mr. Lee had 12 children. William Solomon Lee died in 1933. Jennie Jo and Thomas married in 1936 and had no children. Jennie Jo died in Houston Texas in 1951. After Jennie Jo's death it is believed "Dode" moved to Washington State to be near his son. He died there in 1957
