Mike was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho where he lived most of his life. Michael was the youngest of six children born to Donald Ward Mills and Mary Zoe Hollibaugh. Mike graduated from Pocatello High School, and received an Associate's Degree from Idaho State University.
On September 1, 1990, Mike married the love of his life and forever soul mate, Barbara (Jackson) Mills. Mike embraced his ready made family, and became the proud stepfather to Shannon, Jeremiah and Jessica.
Mike's interests included camping, hunting, fishing, photography, riding his Rhino, and spending time in the outdoors. In his younger years, Mike enjoyed riding horses and spent several years as a member of the Sheriff's Mounted Posse. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family, and loved playing with his three precious grandchildren. He was known for having a special knack of rocking those babies to sleep.
Mike was such a warm and caring person that everyone that met him called him a friend. He touched so many lives and will be dearly missed by all. Mike was always there for anyone who needed him, and had a knack for showing up to help without even being asked.
