She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on May 11, 1954. She grew up in Fremont, CA, and graduated from Irvington High School in 1972. Marypat will especially be remembered for her love of family gatherings, irreplaceable cooking, and adventures with friends; her pride in family and holiday traditions; her beautiful smile; and how she loved to laugh. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the hearts of many. She was always ready to help and enjoyed donating her time to the Assistance League, Jr. Women's Club, and High Desert Youth Soccer League. She was also an advocate of any cause related to the management and cure of her disease.
Marypat is survived by her loving husband Steve Drouin, whom she married October 5, 1974, and their two daughters - who were the loves of her life: Daryn Dittemore, husband Justin, and granddaughters Kayleigh and Bryanna of Apple Valley; and daughter Kathryn Drouin and fiancé Nick Patterson of Apple Valley. She is also survived by her father Robert Kunde of Oshkosh, WI and was preceded in death by her mother Delores. Marypat leaves behind her beloved sister, Colleen Parsons of Gilbert, AZ. She will also be missed by her treasured brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends.
