Geneva Crabtree (1919-2012)

DENISON - Ada Geneva McAdoo Crabtree, 93, went home to be with the Lord Friday, October 5, 2012 at Beacon Hill.

Mrs. Crabtree was born May 23, 1919 in Willis, Oklahoma, the daughter of Newt and Laura (Etheridge) Page. Geneva enjoyed decorating her house and it was always spotless. She also enjoyed working in the yard, especially with her flowers. Geneva loved her family and spending time with them. She loved the Lord was a member of Central Church of Christ. Geneva was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be greatly missed, but always remembered by her family and friends.

Mrs. Crabtree is survived by her beloved family, son, Ronnie McAdoo and wife Debbie of Denison; daughters, Darlene Duncan of Arlington and Arlene O'Malley of Denison; seven grandchildren, Sandy Richards, Donnie O'Malley and wife Regina all of Denison, Debbie Nelson and husband Jerald of Mansville, Cindy Knott and husband John of Richland Hills, Heather Thompson and husband Chris of Newnan, Ga., Kathy Newstead and husband John of Zephyr Hills, Fla., and Terry Sword and husband Steve of Allen; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandson on the way; one brother, Troy McAlester and wife Lillian of Denison.She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, E. G. McAdoo and C. R. Crabtree, three sisters, four brothers and two son–in-laws, Delbert Duncan and Wayne O'Malley.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2012 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Minister Todd Catteau officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Family visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2012 at Fisher Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Donnie O'Malley, Louis Richards III, Jerald Nelson, John Knott, Chris Thompson and Caleb Knott.
