Mr. Hearn, 84, died May 21, 2007, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond, La. He was born on March 12, 1923, to James Eric and Verlie Roma Miller Hearn.
He was retired from the military with service in World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of Carmel Baptist Church where he was a Sunday school teacher for many years.
Preceding him in death were his parents; five sisters; one brother; and two grandchildren.
Survivors are his sons, Tim Hearn, of Monticello, and Micheal Joe Hearn; his daughters, Judy Holmes, of Louisiana, and Debbie Loyd, of Covington, La.; and his brother, Gene Hearn, of Pearl.
