Guttorm (Ted) Anderson, a retired barber who resided at 4633 NE 24th Ave., died Friday in a local hospital one day before his 76th birthday.
Mr. Anderson, born Feb 8, 1893, in Bryne, Norway, had been a Portland resident for 40 years and operated a barber shop at NE 29th Avenue and Prescott Street until about 10 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Petra; son Theodore, Milwaukie; daughter Mrs. Barbara Fergusson, Scarsdale, N.Y.; brother Martin, Vancouver, Wash., and six grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of McGinnis and Wilhelm, with interment in Riverview Cemetery.
