Michele was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School System. She was a graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School and attended the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy.
She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior on Resurrection Sunday at the Second Baptist Church of Penn Hills.
"Shell" or "Shelly" as she was affectionately called by her family and friends. loved the church family the Lord gave her. She often said that family unity and the youth were her ministries.
Shelly was employed at the main Stay Personal Card Home, where she faithfully cared for her clients, even after her health began to fail. She often brought her clients to church where they joined in worship with her.
Shelly had the kind of relationship with her greatly loved and respected "Mommy" that brought smiles to the face of anyone who saw them together. Theirs was the type of bond that expanded but didn't break when two high energy little girls exploded into their world.
Deshaya and Daeja stole mother and grandmothers hearts ten and eleven years ago when Shelly was blessed with these two gifts from God. She often said;" me, my children and mommy are a package deal."
Celebrating the holidays and the Steelers were opportunities for Shelly to cook and make the events special for everyone.
After a courageous four and a half years battle with cancer, an angel of the Lord's carried Shelly inti His presence on March 29, 2012.
