WINAMAC - Thelma Elcina Bonnell, 85, of 302 S. Riverside Dr.,died at 2 p.m. Saturday in the home of her granddaughter at Rt. 1, Star City. She had been ill one year.
She was born Sept. 28, 1903, in Indian Creek Township, Pulaski County, to Isadore and Delcie Galbreath Hoover. She was raised by William F. and Martha Galbreath Hoover. She was married Sept. 30,1923, in Winamac to Russell C. Bonnell, who died March 8,1975.
She was a 1922 graduate of Pulaski High School.
She was a member of the Pulaski Presbyterian Church.
She was a foster parent to many children.
Surviving are two daughters, Phyllis Good, Star City, and Donna Wright, Danville, Ill.^a sister, Eula Hoover Coleman, Winamac; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, a son and a grandson preceded in death.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Frain Mortuary, with Rev. Peggy Hegeman officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Star City.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday or after 8 a.m. Tuesday in the mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pulaski Presbyterian
Church or the American Cancer Society.
