Tommy lived in Alvin for 42 years and was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. He loved his many hobbies over the years, he always put in 100%, whether it was competition shooting, reloading, fishing (he even tied his own rods), bicycling, and gardening. He was a lifetime member of the NRA.
Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Thomas A. Baber, his mother Jane C. (Tannehill) Heitzman, and his stepfather Glyn V. Heitzman.
Survivors include his sons; Robert Baber of Houston, Texas, Anthony Baber and wife, Susan, of Sugar Land, Texas; daughter Sarah Baber of Shreveport, Louisiana; brother Terry Baber of Baytown, Texas; granddaughter Hannah Baber.
Friends are cordially invited to the visitation on Friday September 28, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas, 77546 (281) 992-7200. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston, Texas.
