Master Joshua Lee Cox, 16 days old, a beautiful angel, came to earth at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004, to his parents, Candice A. Price and Nicholas Lee Cox, Winston-Salem. Joshua left his family on Friday, Nov. 5, 2004. He showed us more courage and love in 16 days than most show in a lifetime. He was preceded in death by his great-great-grandmother, Edna Hall, in 2001. Left to honor him are his parents; his maternal grandparents, Angela and Ray Proctor Jr., of Lewisville; his maternal grandfather, Ricky Price, of Kernersville; his paternal grandparents, Rick and Theresa Cox, of Kernersville; his maternal great-grandmother, June Hunt, of Winston-Salem; his aunt, Madelaye Proctor, of Lewisville; his uncles, Alex Proctor and Nicholas Proctor of Lewisville and Ricky Price II, Ryan Price and Chris Cox and wife, Lisa, of Kernersville; his godmother, Shey Surratt, of Winston-Salem; and numerous relatives. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, Nov. 6, in the Hall Family Cemetery in Lansing by Pastor Joel Boyles. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Block and the staff at Brenner's Neuro Staff and Hospice and Palliative CareCenter for their care and support. The arrangements are by Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road Chapel.
