SGT. CHARLES E. KIENAST
Funeral services with full military honors will be held Tuesday for Sgt. Charles E. Kienast of Spring Hill.

Sgt. Kienast was killed in action at the Remagen Bridge on March 11, 1945. He entered the Army in December, 1942. He was in the 99th (Checkerboard) Infantry Division, and served in France, Belgium, and in the Battle of the Bulge.

Sgt. Kienast, who lived at 1181 Domas St., North Side, was graduated from Allegheny High School and worked for the Oswald and Hess Co.

He is survived by his parents, Fred and Alma Kienast, and a brother, Fred Jr.

Friends will be received at the Schellhaas and Son Funeral Home, East St., North Side, until 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Services will be in the Evangelical Protestant Church, Spring Hill, at 2 p.m. The American Legion Spring Hill Post 671 will provide military honors.
