Mr. Koch had been in failing health for some time and had been a patient at the hospital for a month.
A native and lifelong resident of Scioto County, Mr. Koch, was born Sunday, October 14, 1875, in Rarden, a son of Gideon and Elizabeth Jane Oppy Koch.
He is survived by his wife, Mina; a sister, Mrs. Emma Wagner of Wapakoneta, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service are to be conducted at Rarden Methodist Church with Rev. Henry Thompson officiating. Burial is to follow in Mt. Joy Cemetery under the direction of Trefz Funeral Home.
