George Dooley who lives near the Edward Aull mine, received a telegram Tuesday morning announcing the death of his son, Corp. Carl Dooley, in France, October 15.

Corporal Carl Dooley
The body of Corporal Carl Dooley, who died in France, October 15, 1919, of Diphtheria, will arrive in Lexington Saturday, and will be taken to the home of Charles White, Estill Heights, where the funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Elder George Tally will conduct the services.
The deceased was a son of Geo. R. Dooley, and was twenty years of age. He enlisted in Carrollton when the army was sent to the Mexican border. In France he was a member of the Rainbow Division.
