Died Tuesday, June 9, 1987, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 85, a native of Sumner, Miss., and resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale Memorial Chapel, 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday. Religious services at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Bobby J. Burnett. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ann Mitchell, Baton Rouge; a stepdaughter, Mary Lena Kolb, Pontiac, Mich.; four sons, George D. and Clyde B. Lomax, both of Independence, Noah Frank Lomax Jr., Gulfport, Miss., and Eddie Lomax, California; a stepson, Jack Lomax, Jackson, Tenn.; four sisters, Bessie Sullivan and Robby Cook, both of Little Rock, Ark., Clara Gentryand Flora Mae Gentry, both of Crowder, Miss.; two brothers, R.S. Long, Greenwell Springs, and Jerry Long, Crowder; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
