He proudly served in the U. S. Navy and was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. He loved to fish and work in his yard and was the "Mr. Fix It". Another pleasure for him was watching the birds and squirrels.
He is survived by his wife, Neva; daughter, Faith McKinney; sons, David Copeland and Kenneth Copeland and wife, Debra; step-daughters, Cindy Wojnar and Melissa Raycraft; sister, Annice Durrett, 1 granddaughter, 6 grandsons and 1great granddaughter.
