Mary was the 6th daughter born to Adam and Josephine Drejas. She was born in Chicago but the family moved to Chicago Heights when she was still young. She spent her entire life in the Chicago Heights area. Mary never married but loved her many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She held some very interesting jobs throughout her life including work at the Steger Piano Factory and making maps and globes for Webber Costello and Rand McNally companies living in New York City for a short time. She retired from Marshall Fields, State Street, Chicago where she worked in the hat department. She resided at the Glenwood Nursing Home for 11 years prior to passing away at the beautiful age of 103. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and two brothers.
