We have gathered here today as a family not to mourn the loss of our father and grandfather, for each of us has mourned with him during his illness, but to honor the promise we have made to him. To recognize his love of the sea. We are here to remember his acceptance of death not to be the final end, but the passage to a different existence not controlled by time or seasons, not changed by events or people. It reminds us to ever search for His words of "Well done my good and faithful servant." Today reminds us that "Man thou art dust and to dust thou shall return." And, most important of all, reminds us death is not the end but the beginning
