Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Nancy E. Wells Ragin, who died Monday morning at the home of her son at Orange Mills, was held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the Davis funeral parlors; Rev. J. D. Sibert of the Methodist Church, officiating. The body was then sent to the old family home at Satsuma for burial.
Robert and James Ragin, of the Indian River section, were at the bedside of their mother in her last illness.
The deceased was 72 years of age, and was one of the most highly esteemed of the pioneer residents of this section. The deceased is survived by the following sons: Robert L. Ragin of Shiloh, Fla., Henry Ragin of Orange Mills, Thomas Jefferson Ragin of East Palatka and James Ragin of Oak Hill, and by four daughters, Mrs. Eugenia Studstill of Lake Wales, Mrs. Nettie Kenard of Yelvington, Mrs. Phoebe Cothron of Hastings, and Mrs. Mabel Cothron of Hastings.
