Larry James Lemoine, a native of Plaucheville, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012 just shy of his 64th birthday. A loving father, grandfather, and friend to many, Larry was a strong independent man who lived a rich full life until he lost his short battle with lung cancer.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, Larry worked most of his life with Buquet & LeBlanc Construction Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his time on the Amite River.
He is survived by his daughters: Nicole Lemoine Decker and husband Stephen, and Lindsey Shay Lemoine; granddaughter, Alaina Lyn Poche; siblings: Alice Goudeau and husband Herbert, Harris Lemoine and wife Gail, Mancel Lemoine, and Clayton Lemoine and wife Judy; nieces and nephews: Brent, Delaine, Byron, Crystal, Kevin, Kelly, Kim and special nephews Ronnie and Donnie.
He was preceded in death by his former wife Lynda Green and parents: Milbon and Loonie Lemoine.
Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 5pm until 9pm
