Glenda was employed by EE Shenk and Sons, Elizabethtown and was formerly employed by Rittennhouse Builders, Coatesville. She graduated from Ecola Bible School, Cannon Beach, OR in 1988 and Lancaster Mennonite High School in 1984.
She enjoyed life and now enjoys life even more as she resides with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She attended and served with her husband at Erisman Mennonite Church, Manheim. They previously served at East Petersburg Mennonite Church and Maple Grove Mennonite Church, Atglen. They also served as youth advisors at Portland Mennonite Church in the early nineties.
She enjoyed the Oregon Coast, Vermont Ski trips, riding bike, reading novels and playing games with her family. One recent joy was the purchase of her red scooter and receiving her motorcycle license.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 19th at 11:00 AM at Ridgeview Mennonite Church, 3723 Ridge Road, Gordonville, with Pastor Merv Stoltzfus, officiating. There will also be an informal gathering on Tuesday evening September 18th from 4:00-8:00 PM in the fellowship hall at Ridgeview Mennonite Church. Refreshments will be served along with an opportunity to play games like Uno, Settlers of Catan, etc.
There will also be a memorial service held on October 5, 2012 4:00 PM at North Coast Family Fellowship in Seaside, Oregon.
Burial services will be private, at the convenience of the family at Maple Grove Mennonite Cemetery, Atglen, PA.
