The photo of Thelma was taken in 2014 at her home. Thelma was showing off her porch that her husband Denver had made for her,he had turned all the spindles on railings which you can see behind her. She was very proud of her surprise porch!

THELMA BAKER
Thelma Baker, 100, of Centralia, formerly of Higbee, died Tuesday evening, at the Stuart House in Centralia, with her best friend Dora Dennis, at her side.
Thelma was born May 27, 1914, in Higbee, to Elgar L. Noble and Cora (DeBolder) Noble. She married Denver Baker on January 16,1935, in Moberly, and he preceded her in death on July 2, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include many friends.
Thelma was a former member of the Higbee Christian Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and loved to paint.
Memorial contributions to the Higbee Senior Center would be appreciated.
Words of comfort and support may be shared with her friends at the visitation which will be Friday, 12:00-1:00 p.m., at the Cater Funeral home Chapel. Services honoring Thelma's life will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Committal prayers and burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
