Mrs. Emma M. Alder, 85, died Wednesday in Galion Community Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Sneedville, TN and came to Galion 54 years ago. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Averie Tyner of Abington, PA, Mrs. Howard Yost of Worthington and Mrs. William Armstrong of Vancouver, WA; a son, William Jr. of Columbus, OH; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
