Services for Emma Eleanor Tyree who died on Saturday in a local nursing home were held on Monday, Jan. 24 at 2pm at Seydier-Hill Funeral Home. The Rev. Bob Allen officiated with interment in the Floyd's Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Buster Lindermann, Gene Iley, George Iley, W.T. Miller, J.B. Lester and J.B. Moore.
Miss Tyree was born on Jan. 14 1892 to Robert Gleghorn Tyree and Elizabeth Lester, natives respectively of Arkansas and England. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by numerous cousins and was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sister-in-law, Samuel Burnham Tyree and Mamie Tyree and an infant sister, Mamie C. Tyree.
