Mr. Baker was born in Yulee, Florida and moved to New Jersey in 1974. After a short illness he passed away in Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Paul was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church in Lawnside, New Jersey as well. He worked in a job that he loved and was very good at as a computer programmer. He was a product of the Nassau County school system in Fernandina Beach, Florida. His secondary education was at Florida A & M University in Tallahassee, Florida.
Paul leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Willie Belle Archer-Baker, a son, Tony Lamar Baker, and his special "Princess," daughter Pamela Denise Baker(deceased July 13,2012-aged 48). Four grand-daughters also survive him, LaToya, Angela, Nakeeda, and Anita Baker. One sister Helen Britt of Florida, and 2 brothers, Steve baker Jr. of Florida and Sidney of Detroit, Michigan also survive him. Mr. Baker's beloved mother, Mrs. Marie Baker of Yulee survives him as well as his mother in law Mattie Archer-Williams of St. Petersburg, Florida. Paul's father Steve Baker Sr. passed away within a few years after his son. Five sisters in law and 2 brothers in law also survived Paul.
