On Sunday, December 11, 2022, Virginia A. (Krout) Beck, 94, of Seven Valleys, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side. She was the wife of the late Charles Beck. Virginia was born on November 17, 1928 in Seven Valleys to the late Raymond D. and Mary C. (Stump) Krout. Virginia was well known in the community, and communicated often with friends and family. She truly cared about her community and would spend hours talking with, and assisting people through any issue, good or bad. She was a farmer at heart. She loved the farm that she lived on for 74 years. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed her greenhouse. Virginia also loved history. She had traveled to many historical places in the US, plus the Holy Lands. She embraced technology and spent many hours researching genealogy on her computer. Through that research, she was able to meet many people and share with them what she had found. Virginia was also an active leader in 4H and Friedensaal Lutheran Church. She is survived by her son, Larry E. Beck; one sister, Faye V. Hall; one granddaughter, Lisa Ebersole; one great-granddaughter, Kristen Ebersole; many nieces and nephews; and her special caregivers, Tom and Linda Frantz. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and an infant brother, Glenn. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 17 from 9:00am until a memorial service begins at 11:00am at Friedensaal Lutheran Church, 9138 White Church Road, Seven Valleys, PA 17360. **Please wear Christmas attire, for it was Virginia's favorite time of the year!**. Pastor Doug DeStephano will officiate. Interment is private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to Friedensaal Lutheran Church at the address above or the Lehman Center, 400 W. Market St., York, PA 17406. Online condolences may be made at Geiple (site).
