On February 3, 1928, a beautiful baby girl was born to Severiano and Catarina Aguilar. God reached down and chose His prettiest rose and on September 9, 2012 He welcomed Candelaria home.

Candelaria believed in living life to the fullest. Many things brought her joy including garage sales, gardening, sewing, and spending time with friends and family. She never met a stranger; always ready to befriend you and offer words of encouragement-sprinkled with a joke and the faith that God sustains us all. Candelaria specialized in turning junk into treasures as evidenced by the many items she collected by the side of the road which are now considered "antiques".

Candelaria was preceded in death by her loving husband Reuben Fuentes, her mother and father, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children; Lusia (John) Garnica of Kyle, Tx, Nay (Ron) Sprouse of Sherman, Tx, Rodolfo (Katy) DeLaPaz of Buda Tx, Blanca (Mark) Oncken of Tomball, Tx; her brother, Marcos Aguilar of Houston, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, numerous family members and unlimited number of friends whose lives she touched. She will be dearly missed.

Services will take place on Thursday, September 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Harrell Funeral Home in Kyle, Tx. Burial Onion Creek Memorial Park, Manchaca.
