Christopher Lee Barnes
Christopher Lee Barnes, age 22, of Gaylesville, Al. passed away Monday September 3, 2012 in Bartow County, Ga.
Christopher was born June 29, 1990, in Floyd County. He was a member of Enon Grove Baptist Church, Cedar Bluff. Christopher was a graduate of Cedar Bluff High School class of 2009. He attended UTC, in Chattanooga, and Gadsden State Community College and later got his certificate as a recording engineer from Pro-Tools. He was employed by Cherokee County Board of Education, as a substitute teacher. He was preceded in death by his mother Molly Barnes, and a sister, Kristen Elizabeth Barnes.
Survivors include his father, Lee Barnes, Gaylesville; sister and brother in law, Stephanie and Joey Weaver of Cedar Bluff; nephews, Carter James Weaver, Cedar Bluff; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. (EST) Saturday September 8, 2012 in the Chapel of Good Shepherd Funeral Home, with Rev. Melvyn Salter, Dr. Gary Hardin, and Dr. Larry Draper, officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. (EST) Friday September 7, 2012 at Parncik Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen and are asked to meet at the funeral home by 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Justin Morris, Joel Brookshire, Josh Busby, Joey Weaver, Brian Stinson, Jullian King, Jonathan Morris, and Jhavonn Brown,
