Ross William Caldwell, 89, beloved by family and friends, left this earth in Prescott, Ariz., after a long illness. Ross was born in Medina, son of the late Franklin and Nellie Caldwell. On June 26, 1944, Ross married the love of his life, Alberta Rowcliffe Caldwell in Madison, Wis. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II and was stationed in Italy during the last year of the war. He and Alberta raised their sons mostly in their home in Warsaw. He will always be thought of fondly as a fun loving, smart, supportive, faith-filled, kind and loving husband, father and grandfather. Ross is survived by his wife of 68 years, Alberta; his sons, Craig (Lynn) Caldwell of Prescott, Ariz., Bruce (Joanne) Caldwell of Warsaw; his sister, Ruth Blackstock of Cleveland, Ohio; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Ben Caldwell, Carl Caldwell and Richard Caldwell.
