Hugo A. Johnson, 66, formerly of North Westfield St., Feeding Hills, died Saturday at Indian Rocks Beach, Fla. He was born Oct. 17, 1896, son of the late August and Alma (Anderson) Johnson. He was a resident of Agawam for the past 32 years. He moved to Florida some three months ago. He was employed as a printer and an assistant foreman at the U.S. Envelope Co. for 38 years. He retired in 1960. He served as a board member of Kelko Association at the company. He was a member of Feeding Hills Congregational Church. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Elsie (Clapp) Johnson; his stepmother, Mrs. Christina Johnson of Springfield; a son, Elmer of Madison, Conn.; three daughters, Mrs. Alma MacLenna, and Mrs. Gladys St. Peter, both of Southwick, and Mrs. Ruth Walz of Feeding Hills; a brother, Elmer of Miami, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Edith LeFeave of West Springfield; and a stepsister, Mrs. Leola Snow of Springfield; 12 grandchildren and a nephew. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Curran-Jones funeral home. Rev. Frank Dunn, pastor of Feeding Hills Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be today 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.
