Clayborne "Clay" D. Shaw, 69, long-time cowboy and rancher in this area died August 10 at his home at Orin after an illness of several months. He was the son of J. C. and Elizabeth Shaw. He came to Wyoming at an early age and attended grade school near Orin. Mr. Shaw spent his entire life as a cowboy and rancher in Wyoming and was highly respected by his legion of friends. Survivors include two brothers, Peach Shaw of Jay Em and Paul Shaw of Wibaux, Mont.; and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Hageman of Shawnee and Mrs. Patty Gray of Orin. He was preceded in death by one brother, a sister and his parents. (Information was obtained from his obituary and cemetery records.)
