Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. for Marvin C. Soward in the Miles Chapel. The BPO Els Lodge No. 1410 officiated. Burial was in the Elks Plot in Pinal Cemetery.
Soward died at Miami Inspiration Hospital Jan. 16. He was born June 10, 1910 in Lebanon, Mo. He was a resident of Claypool 27 years, worked for Miami Copper Co. and was a member of BPO Elks Lodge 1410.
Mr. Soward is survived by his wife, Gertrude; a son, Marvin, Jr. of North Hollywood, Cali.; his father, Warren A. Soward of Blythe, Calif.; one brother, six sisters and one grandchild, all in California.
